As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead key aspects of mechanical design across sophisticated vessel projects, ensuring seamless collaboration, top-tier engineering, and compliance with all relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead mechanical design processes for large-scale marine engineering projects.
Oversee 3D modeling, technical documentation, and detailed design reviews.
Ensure full compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal quality systems.
Work cross-functionally with design, production, and supplier teams to ensure manufacturability and system integration.
Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor junior engineers and guide apprentices through on-the-job development.
Your Background :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for yachts or luxury cruise vessels
Strong skills in 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic
Solid understanding of complex mechanical systems: moving equipment, system layouts, cable and panel routing, integration, and weight distribution
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Detail-oriented with a quality-first approach and strong analytical thinking
